CORTIJO DE BRÁCANAS is a traditional Andalusian farm located just outside the village of Villanueva de la Concepción. Our beautiful estate lies in the heart of the Malaga province of Andalusia, half an hour from Malaga airport and the Costa del Sol. The Estate is owned and run by the Krudde family who have spent many years lovingly restoring the cortijo to its former glory. We are a Dutch family who left Holland 9 years ago to live in this wonderful country to be surrounded by our Spanish purebred horses, dogs, nature and wildlife. Catelijn Krudde fell totally in love with the Spanish horse some 19 years ago, after having owned and trained Dutch and German competition horses for most of her life. |
She competed professionally in show jumping, cross country and dressage in Holland for many years but now devotes herself solely to schooling, breeding and selling Spanish purebred horses, not only from Cortijo de Brácanas, but also from various well known and trusted breeders in and around the province of Andalusia.

We are able to provide delightful accommodation at the cortijo in our charming guest house, a cottage with spectacular views of the peaceful mountain surrounds where one can truly relax. Recharging your batteries in the traditional Spanish setting whilst watching the spectacular horses graze peacefully in the fields or impress whilst being trained, make for a truly magical escape..
